Every great film needs great music. From December 2nd to 6th, the Whistler Film Festival (WFF) will celebrate its 15th edition as ‘Canada’s coolest film festival’.
Produced in collaboration with Music BC, the WFF Music Café is a unique showcasing opportunity for British Columbian musicians to perform for music supervisors of all filmed media looking for their next discovery, an industry of film, TV, documentary and music professionals looking for music for their next project, and film fans who love music too.
New for 2015, the WFF Music Café has expanded to two days to include an evening showcase on December 4 and daytime showcase on December 5 as well as a dedicated industry panel on December 5, with the possibility of additional performances during the festival.
Up to ten Music BC members, including songwriters and artists from across the musical spectrum, will be selected to each play a live 20-minute set and meet with key international music and film executives and delegates attending the festival.
The WFF Music Café is supported by Western Economic Diversification Canada and sponsored by Creative BC and Gibbons Life. Find out more at whistlerfilmfestival.com.
