is a songwriter, TV/film composer, teacher, and broadcaster with over 30 years’ experience in the music business. Perhaps most widely known as lead singer of (late 80s/early 90s) band The Jitters, Blair also runs an annual summer songwriting workshop in Toronto with co-founder Rik Emmett.
is a songwriter, producer and engineer. He is best known for his work on Daniel Powter’s Grammy nominated single “Bad Day”, which held the Billboard #1 spot for 5 weeks. Jeff has written for many artists including: Eleven Past One, Songs of Daughters, Laurell, Lexi Strate, Santa Clara, Reed Demming, Jaydee Bixby, Suzie McNeal, and Bend Sinister.
Alida Kinnie Starr
is one of Canada’s most critically acclaimed underground musicians. Widely known in hip hop circles as an artist with a strikingly authentic voice, Starr has been blazing trails since 1996 with her beat slamming recordings, outspoken race and gender politics, intelligent and edgy visual art. In 2014, she released her latest self produced album, “From Far Away”, with Aporia Records, and is also a JUNO Award winning producer.
Vancouver’s Ryan Guldemond
is a Juno-nominated producer, songwriter and frontman of alt pop/rock outfit Mother Mother.
is the singer/guitarist in the band Wide Mouth Mason. He’s written lots of songs for that band and for other artists including Big Sugar, Shawn Hook, WiL, and David Gogo. Some of those songs have been hits, propelling their records into numbers nicety. Shaun has toured with likes of The Rolling Stones, AC/DC and ZZ Top. He has stood just behind his guitar onstage in North America, Europe, China, South East Asia and as close to the North Pole as you can play, (unless you’re in a Russian Submarine, probably.)
