ARC APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN!

Applications are now open for BC’s very own intensive artist accelerator program, ARC!

The ARC program will advance the business, creative, and technical skills of recording artists to help them build a sustainable career in the music industry. The program spans several months and includes a music business clinic, creative retreat and final showcase event.

Ready to take the next step? Applications are now open for BC-based artists – make sure to check the guidelines before embarking on your application.

Submission Deadline: May 24, 2023 (11:59 pm PDT)

VANCOUVER MURAL FESTIVAL APPLICATIONS OPEN

Music BC is thrilled to once again be partnering with Vancouver Mural Festival this August for a night of live music featuring emerging BC artists!

Vancouver Mural Festival is an annual outdoor celebration of public art designed to connect, reflect and celebrate our diverse communities through art and live events. Explore the creative side of Vancouver’s great outdoors and discover your new favourite murals, artists, performers, communities, neighbours and more!

Applications are now open to perform with Music BC during this summer’s event, returning from August 3rd to 13th.

Submission Deadline: May 15th, 2023 (11:59 pm PDT)

MUSIC BC TRAVEL GRANTS

Music BC’s travel grants are open for Artists and Businesses, for both domestic and international destinations – including showcase, touring and business travel.

This deadline will be accepting applications to support initiatives that take place between April 1st, 2023, to September 30th, 2023.

Travel Grant Deadline: May 26, 2023 at 5:00 PM PDT

LAST CALL: HENRY ARMSTRONG AWARD SUBMISSIONS
The Henry Armstrong Award (HAA) is a newly launched bursary and mentorship program, created to develop, elevate, and support Indigenous artists within the Canadian music industry. The award aims to provide unique opportunities for growth and development, culminating with the chosen act receiving a $10,000 bursary, along with a tailored mentorship program of professional development services.
