It’s almost that time…

The Top 15 BC Artists participating in ARC 2024 are going to be announced on July 2nd! Who do YOU think it might be?

ARC is a multi-stage program that will advance the business, creative, and technical skills of recording artists to help them build sustainable careers in the music industry—both at home and away. Led by a faculty of music industry professionals, participants will benefit from decades of experience and success within the music business.

APPLY TO SHOWCASE AT COME TOGETHER TORONTO

We are back in Toronto this fall for a fourth consecutive year hosting Come Together, an initiative for artists ready to break into Canada’s largest music market. Presented by Canada’s Music Industry Associations and SODEC. As a collective, these organizations are working together to present two days of industry showcases and meetings in Toronto this November.

Come Together is an opportunity for artists from across Canada to meet with, build business relationships, and showcase for key music industry professionals from Toronto and surrounding areas including labels, agents, managers, publishers, music supervisors, publicists, and more. Participants will work directly with their music industry association to identify key music business contacts to invite and meet with. This event has goals beyond showcasing with a push towards industry connections, team building and business strategies for both artists and businesses. Selected artists will be provided with an honorarium.

Artists must be available to attend both days of programming & showcasing: November 25th & 26th, 2024

Application Deadline: July 1st, 2024 at 11:59 PM PST

CANADA COUNCIL CIRCULATION & TOURING GRANTS
Canada Council is accepting applications for the “Circulation & Touring” component of their Arts Across Canada and their Arts Abroad programs. Grants support the presentation and exhibition of performances and works by Canadian artists which build exposure and reach Canadian and international audiences.

FIRST PEOPLES’ CULTURAL COUNCIL MUSIC PROGRAM 
First Peoples’ Cultural Council’s Music Program is open for applications, supporting the development of B.C. First Nations music creatives and professionals residing in B.C. through grants and training programs. It funds activities that can lead to professional development opportunities, cultural knowledge transfer and community well-being. This program offers three areas of funding for artists, recording engineers and music industry professionals.
