ARC RETREAT 2024 COMES TO A CLOSE

We wrapped up The Retreat portion of our ARC Accelerator 2024 on August 24th, and we’re still buzzing. Thank you to our amazing cohort of artists for bringing such incredible energy and creativity to this process; we are so full of excitement to witness the future that is ahead for each of you.

Thank you to our incredible faculty, and the wonderful folks at Rockridge Canyon for hosting us for a third year. You all made this an unforgettable experience.

What’s next? Be sure to save the date for our ARC Showcases, coming up on October 2nd-4th in Vancouver. Tickets will be available soon!

BC ARTISTS AT REEPERBAHN

Canada House returns to Hamburg, Germany this September for the 2024 edition of the Reeperbahn Festival & Conference, and the official lineup has been announced!

This year, Canada will take over Uwe once again for two full days of showcases on Thursday, September 19 and Friday, September 20 starting midday and going until midnight – showcasing 24 of Canada’s finest emerging acts. You won’t want (or need) to be anywhere else!

Heading to Reeperbahn? Make sure to catch BC’s very own Hotel Mira and Jesse Roper as they light up the stage!

Thank you to Creative BC and the Province of British Columbia, FACTOR and the Government of Canada for making this opportunity possible for BC artists.

APPLY TO SHOWCASE AT TREEFORT MUSIC FEST

Music BC’s artist submissions are open for Treefort Music Fest in Boise, Idaho, running March 26-30, 2025. We are very excited to be returning to this highly anticipated event for another year!

Coined “the west’s best SXSW alternative”, Treefort Music Fest is a 5-day multi-genre, multi-venue festival that welcomes well over 12,000 people per day in downtown Boise, Idaho.

This application form is open to export-ready Canadian artists, who are available to participate during March 26-30, 2025, and can secure an appropriate US Visa. BC artists must fill out our application form by September 15th, 2024 at 11:59 PM (PST) to be considered for showcasing with Music BC at this event.
