SCOTT JOHNSON |
Scott Johnson, Warner Music Canada’s Western Region Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the company’s operations for Western Canada. Based in Vancouver, his responsibilities include oversight for all aspects of Sales, Marketing & Promotions, Distribution/Supply Chain, Digital Business Development, Merchandise Sales, and Artist Development for all of WMG’s Labels and Artists as they pertain to Western Canada.Recently, Scott has been working with artists (both new and large scale) to ensure all pieces of their brand (music website/ photos/ video/ merch/ production/ social media etc) are properly aligned.Scott studied Music Composition with a minor in Business at both York University and Humber College in Toronto, where he received a scholarship for music composition. Scott currently sits on the board of Music BC (President) and was a member of the PEAK Performance Project Committee, Scott is also heavily involved in several charities including the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, where he was the Run Director for the 2011 CIBC Run For the Cure. |

PATRICK ALDOUS |
Patrick Aldous is a partner at the entertainment law firm Atkins and Company in Vancouver. The music business is the primary focus of Patrick’s practice. His clients include recording artists, composers, record labels, record producers, music publishers, artist management companies and a variety of other music professionals. He assists clients with agreements relating to all aspects of the music business including recording, management, licensing, distribution, publishing, live performance and merchandising.Prior to entering law school, Patrick earned a Music Degree from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. He then earned a degree in International Relations and Comparative Politics at McGill University in Montreal. After studying at McGill and working in radio in Montreal, he returned to his native Vancouver to pursue his legal studies at the University of British Columbia, where he received his law degree in 1999. Patrick is the current Vice President and past-President of Music BC. He also sits on the Board of Directors of BC Coastal Jazz and Blues Society, which produces the annual TD International Jazz Festival in Vancouver. While pursuing his career in law, Patrick has continued to be active as a performing and recording session musician. |

ROB WRIGHT |
Rob cut his teeth in the music industry as an Alberta festival and event producer and in A&R for Stony Plain Records. But is was in the role of talent buyer for the New City Likwid Lounge that he established a reputation as the go-to guy in Edmonton. Developing strong relationships with TFA’s agents eventually landed him a job offer with the agency. He joined the team in 2005, where he’s found great satisfaction working with developing artists to help them build strong careers. Rob enjoys the challenge of working with non-traditional artists, such as spoken word artist Shane Koyczan, applying live music best practices to different mediums.Rob’s understanding of live shows runs deeper than his experience as a booking agent. He’s been musician for 20 years, performing regularly at venues of all sizes. Recently, Rob made his arena stage debut when he performed with Rich Hope at Vancouver’s Roger Arena, opening for legendary roots rocker Bob Segar. Rob is the Vice President of Solidarity Rock, an artist-run not-for-profit organization that works to partner musicians and artists in Cuba, North America and beyond to create tour opportunities, secure musical equipment and more. |

KATE WATTIE |
As an artist manager and general manager of Vancouver record labels Tonic and Boompa, Kate Wattie works with a number of West Coast artists on a global level. Kate’s first taste of the music business was at Virgin Records in the UK and led to management of Not Just Another Music Shop (vintage guitar store) in Vancouver. From there Kate moved into artist management and has never looked back.Tonic is an Americana label with a roster that includes The Harpoonist & The Axe Murderer, Tavis Triance, Rodney DeCroo, Ben Rogers, Leeroy Stagger and Buckman Coe. Boompa Records is an indie label with a roster that includes We Are The City, The Belle Game, Dralms, Woodpigeon and Mu. The overall focus of both labels is to release amazing music while helping artists nurture their creativity and get their music onto a global stage. Kate Wattie is also a co-owner of boutique guitar store, Exile Electronics. |

BRANDON FLETCHER |
Brandon Fletcher is a multidisciplinary graphic artist and art director currently working in the music industry. He spent seven years as Creative Director/Manager of live music venue Habitat in Kelowna, Creative Director/Producer of The PEAK Performance Project, Co-Founder/Developer/Producer of music festivals like Pop Okanagan and Keloha as well as a Host volunteer for BreakOut West 2010 in Kelowna. More recently he has been Directing and Producing music videos for national and international artists as well as co-developing curriculum and heading the Content Creation for Music and Media program at Nimbus School of Recording and Media. |

COLIN MCTAGGART |
Colin McTaggart is a manager, promoter and artist. Having joined Amelia Artists in 2012, Colin works with their roster of developing acts. With a diverse range of clients including 2018 WCMA Electronic Artists of The Year winners The Funk Hunters, Bass Coast Founder The Librarian and, singer-songwriter, Luca Fogale, Colin brings his years of promoting and touring experience to the table with every artist.Outside of his management work Colin also runs a successful backline company and is part of the ownership group at the Capital Ballroom. When not working on music, he is an avid photographer, traveler, cyclist, and guitarist. |
