Meet FARA, DJ Kemo, and Tugstar 💙⚡️

FARA is a Vancouver-based R&B artist blending contemporary sound with storytelling rooted in her Singaporean and Malay heritage. After emerging from the city’s hip-hop scene through early collaborations and live shows, she has stepped into her own as a solo artist, sharing stages with 112 and Ginuwine and gaining international traction with releases like “BEACHSIDE” and “SOUL.” Beyond music, FARA is also a multidisciplinary creative with a focus on visual direction and artist development.

DJ Kemo’s journey reflects the evolution of Canadian hip-hop. From his early roots in breakdancing, graffiti, and vinyl, he went on to co-found the Rascalz and earn multiple JUNO Awards. With global touring experience and production credits for artists like Kardinal Offishall, Pitbull, and k-os, his sound blends hip-hop with reggae, soul, funk, and global rhythms.

Tugstar, born in Maypen, Jamaica, is a reggae and dancehall artist shaped by both church and street culture. After rising in Kingston and winning the Guinness Ultimate DJ Battle in 2005, he has collaborated with icons like Bounty Killer, Beenie Man, and Elephant Man. Now based in Vancouver, he continues to fuse traditional Jamaican sounds with a global perspective.
