Studies and Reports

Thank you to our partners and funders including Creative BC and the Province of British Columbia,  and the BC music community for supporting the success of the SoundON Program in 2020 and 2021.

This funding was aimed at provided BC presenters and artists with direct support to get back to doing what they do best: creating unforgettable live music experiences. The program was framed as an industry-led stimulus fund that was open to experienced live music presenters, with a specific focus on presentations from diverse regions in BC, as well as a diversity of artists and crew.

We’ve detailed the reach and impact of our collective programs in 2021 – including the Travel Grants Program, SoundON, Let’s Hear It! Live, our regional stage sponsorships, education and professional development initiatives and others – the graphic above.

Our organization continues to drive the music economy by providing opportunities to further the careers of BC’s music creatives & professionals.

We would like to acknowledge our partners, our members, our Staff and Board of Directors and the music community of BC at large for helping to make 2021 a successful year despite the ongoing challenges faced by our industry.

Thank you to Creative BC and the Province of British Columbia, FACTOR and the Government of Canada for their support in our 2021 programs and initiatives.
