This week we continue our How-To From Home series with a masterclass on how to collaborate effectively online using the most current cloud-based tools (including Splice, Ableton and Loopcloud and others). Our panelists will also discuss the power of collaborating virtually, how it has changed the creative process in recent years and speak to current artists and industry leaders pushing the format forward. We’ll hear from organizations such as Chillhop Music, and Monstercat as well as artists and mix engineers on how to best collaborate online.

The forum will be moderated by Dan Turcotte, Commercial Director at Monstercat and member of Music BC’s Board of Directors. Dan will be joined by:

Dr. Matthew T Shelvock – Western University, Chillhop

Jonathan Winter – A&R Director, Monstercat

Thank you to Creative BC and the Province of British Columbia, FACTOR and the Government of Canada for their support in this initiative.
