FINAL PUSH: SAVE THE CANADA MUSIC FUND

Yesterday, the House of Commons Finance Committee recommended that the upcoming federal budget fulfill the commitment to a permanent increase to the Canada Music Fund (CMF).

This means that our voice is being heard! But we can’t stop now. The final decisions about what are in the federal budget will be made in the next few days. The Canada Music Fund funds FACTOR, which invests in Canadian artists and music companies. We want to make sure the government hears from as many people as possible about how important the Canada Music Fund is and how catastrophic it would be for our sector if it were not increased in the upcoming budget.

Add your voice to the thousands across the country who have told MPs and the Ministers of Finance and Heritage how vital the Canada Music Fund is. Don’t forget to share this link with your friends and your networks.
