Victoria releases new Music Strategy to boost local artists

MEMBER OF THE WEEK

Sarah Eské is a Vancouver Pop/Rnb/Soul singer who is most influenced by Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys, Ella Mai, Lizzo, Lauryn Hill and Joss Stone. “Let Me Go” is the latest release from Sarah Eské and BC record label Mercury Artists/Element-80 Records Inc. It is also her second musical collaboration with Canadian music producer Duncan Adamson. Their first project “Sidelines”, featured sultry tones and inspired live musicianship that are emblematic of today’s throwback RnB sound; “Let Me Go” which was just released on February 1st, 2022, has a more uptempo pop vibe with sounds that still reach back in time, but more towards a dancefloor. To stay engaged with her fans during the pandemic, Sarah had been producing new music and virtual performances. She is now beginning to rehearse and perform her new songs with her band, and they look forward to performing more and more as we re-emerge with live music performances and tours.
