Thank you to our partners and funders for supporting the successes of the SoundON program!
This funding was aimed at providing BC presenters and artists with direct support to get back to doing what they do best: creating unforgettable live music experiences. The program was framed as an industry-led stimulus fund that was open to experienced live music presenters, with a specific focus on presentations from diverse regions in BC, as well as a diversity of artists and crew.
We’ve added up the impact and are thrilled to have been able to support over 1000 BC artists, and create nearly 2000 jobs between 2020 and 2022. Learn more about the results of the program through the link below.
With the situation ever-evolving during this part of the pandemic, we’ve updated our listing of current restrictions and public health orders, as well as some resources currently available for artists, professionals and alike. There have also been recent updates to relief funding for business in the hospitality and entertainment industries that are still heavily affected by COVID-19.
Jumpstart is once again taking requests for 1-hour sessions with our music industry consultants! This on-demand music career consultation and coaching service provided by Music BC is designed to connect BC musicians and music professionals with career support to help with their music-related project.
