SPOTLIGHT OF THE WEEK

Pharm is an entertaining and energetic 3-piece ensemble from Kelowna, BC that specialize in aggressive progressive psychedelic rock. Consisting of Matthew Parson (guitar), Lucas Segall (bass/vox), and Teagan Ramage (drums), Pharm formed in the Spring of 2019 in Kelowna, BC. Their individual musical aptitudes, spanning from conventional to highly unorthodox, synergistically combined to propel each other to new musical heights. Countless hours of rehearsal and collaboration among the trio lead to several live performances throughout the Okanagan Valley and the Kootenays. Soon, the band developed a reputation for exceptional live performances, which earned them an invitation to Armstrong Metal Fest in July 2022. This momentum culminated in “PharmPhest” which took place in Kelowna, BC on October 29th, 2022, a highly successful event which showcased 10 diverse acts, including stand-up comedy, from all over BC and Alberta. The “Phest” also served to celebrate the release of their first full length album – Vortex – which has received much critical acclaim.
